MENSCH BERLIN Jubiläumsausstellung (Anniversary exhibition)

ausstellung

In 1985, the Kunstsammlung der Berliner Volksbank started with the leitmotif “Images of people – images for people”, the first sculpture purchased was “Sich Umschauende (Looking Around)” by Ludwig Gabriel Schrieber. Since then, a number of works have been added: the Kunstsammlung der Berliner Volksbank now includes more than 1,500 objects by around 200 artists. The focus is on representational German art after 1950, with a focus on the turning point in Berlin/Brandenburg. The anniversary exhibition will also draw on this great treasure. More coming soon!
