Thirty years after 1989, the exhibition was the first to comprehensively present the perspective of the visual arts on the Peaceful Revolution, reunification and upheaval. The works “Pariser Platz II” by Wolfgang Peuker and “Selbst mit abgeschnittenem Finger” by Jürgen Wenzel from the Kunstsammlung der Berliner Volksbank were loaned to the Museum der bildenden Künste in the trade fair city of Leipzig.
