The ninetieth birthday of Werner Tübke (1929 – 2004) and the thirtieth anniversary of Panorama Museum Bad Frankenhausen were the reasons for the special exhibition. On display were around 100 works by Werner Tübke that were created over the course of his travels through the Soviet Union. They presented this important area of Tübke’s oeuvre in a focused form for the first time. The Stiftung Kunstforum lends Werner Tübke’s painting “Im Westkaukasus” from 1989.
