We are very pleased about three generous donations of works by the artists Peter Schubert and Dietrich Noßky as well as the LICHTBLICKE portfolio with 24 works by artists such as G.L. Gabriel, Hubertus Giebe, Helge Leiberg, Hans Scheuerecker and others.

The exhibition 100 Jahre Held(t)en. Werner Heldt and Burkhard Held, with works from the Kunstsammlung der Berliner Volksbank and loans, is on view from 16 February to 16 June 2024.

The exhibition SchlagLicht, a collaboration with the Kunststiftung DZ BANK, features works from the Kunstsammlung der Berliner Volksbank and the collection of DZ BANK. SchlagLicht opens as part of Berlin Art Week on 13 September and can be seen until 10 December 2023.

The exhibition MENSCHENBILD – der expressionistische Blick (the expressionist view), with works from the Kunstsammlung der Berliner Volksbank and loans from the Kunststiftung Michels, is on view from 16 February to 18 June 2023.

With the new inventory the Stiftung KUNSTFORUM der Berliner Volksbank gGmbH looks back in 2022 on the 37-year history of the Kunstsammlung der Berliner Volksbank (Berliner Volksbank’s art collection), which began in one of the most interesting corporate collections in Germany. The extensive publication underscores the art historical and cultural policy relevance of the collection.

One exhibition at three locations. The exhibition and contemporary witnesses project can be seen from August 25th at the Stiftung Kunstforum Berliner Volksbank and from September 16th in the Nikolaikirche and Ephraim-Palais museums and ends together on December 11th, 2022.
