With “Berlin Sagt Danke”, the State of Berlin honors the volunteer work of its citizens. The event takes place every November and is organized by the Berlin Senate and the Berlin House of Representatives in collaboration with numerous partners from the cultural, recreational, and social sectors. Through free admission, guided tours, and special offers, participating institutions express their gratitude to the people who volunteer to promote community life and social cohesion in Berlin.
The Stiftung KUNSTFORUM der Berliner Volksbank gGmbH also participates in “Berlin Sagt Danke” every year and invites volunteers to visit its exhibition free of charge on the event day.
