Discover art and culture, get creative, and try new things: Every October, KinderKulturMonat—a nonprofit, citywide program organized by WerkStadt Kulturverein Berlin e. V.—invites children ages 4 to 12 to explore Berlin’s diverse cultural venues. Museums, theaters, art studios, and many other institutions offer a free, child-friendly program featuring workshops, guided tours, and events. In this way, KinderKulturMonat provides easy access to the city’s cultural life, particularly for children and families who have had little exposure to art and culture up to now.
The Stiftung KUNSTFORUM der Berliner Volksbank gGmbH also participates in KinderKulturMonat every year. In our Werkstatt für Kreative, children can explore the current exhibition in free workshops, learn about artistic techniques, and then get creative themselves.
