KinderKulturMonat 2024: Unheimliche/s Gestalten. Verborgenes in textilen Reliefs

On 19th of October 2024, the Werkstatt für Kreative will be taking part in the KinderKulturMonat.
Aleks and Lilla are looking forward to welcoming you with two workshops from 10am to 12pm and from 1pm to 3pm and are hoping for a large number of participants.

Children aged 5-8 years can register for the first workshop from 10am-12pm with an accompanying adult and children aged 9-12 years are welcome to attend the 1pm-3pm workshop, even without their parents if they wish.
They can visit the exhibition free of charge during this time. There is space for a maximum of 20 participants for both workshops, otherwise it will be too crowded. Look forward to a great workshop and exhibition visit with us.

Uncanny figures. The hidden in textile reliefs.
Grab some fabric, wool and threads and transform our background into an intricate relief! Preferably so intricate that fantastic figures could also be hiding in it … We can discover them in the exhibition we are visiting. Let’s take a closer look at the pictures: How are the colours and shapes used here in the works? And do we always see everything at first glance? Or is there much more hidden in some of the works than we thought? Back in the workshop, let’s take another look at what we can find in the folds, pockets and knots of our relief…

Registration via the KinderKulturMonat from around beginning of August: www.kinderkulturmonat.de/

Werkstatt für Kreative in Oranienburg!
The Werkstatt für Kreative is also there for you during the summer holidays. Inna and Lilla are looking forward to a great creative workshop for you at Kids kreativ in Oranienburg.

Happiness in one piece – we knead our talisman.
A talisman is a small object, a memento to which magical, lucky properties are attributed. We use modelling clay to create an object or figure that celebrates everyday life and embodies our own talisman. The small sculpture can be a fantasy creature (monster, ghost, wizard) or something abstract. After drying, the object can be painted.

This time we won’t be on site in one go in the last week of the holidays, but spread over the whole 6 weeks, so there’s sure to be a suitable date for everyone. We look forward to seeing you! Your Inna and Lilla

Inna is looking forward to seeing you on the following days during the first three weeks:

The Werkstatt für Kreative is participating in the KinderKulturMonat in October 2023!

On 14 October, we will take part in the KinderKulturMonat and offer you two great workshops at Kaiserdamm 105. You can take part in the workshop MENSCH UND EMOTION from 10-12 am and from 13-15 pm. All children aged 4-16 are invited to register for a workshop via the KinderKulturMonat website from 3 September. www.kinderkulturmonat.de

For the workshop, our art educators will be waiting for you at the Werkstatt für Kreative at Kaiserdamm 105. After a short introduction, we will go to the current exhibition at the Stiftung Kunstforum Berliner Volksbank right next door. You’ll see lots of great works of art, explore them with your eyes and ask questions about them in a short discussion session. Afterwards, you will move back to the Werkstatt für Kreative and give free rein to your feelings with brush and ink on paper. Spontaneously and with verve, you put your feelings on paper and capture the moment.
First you experiment with black and gradually add the primary colours yellow, blue and red.
A picture emerges and in the end it is an expression of yourself. Be curious about what develops on the paper before your eyes and just stay spontaneous.

A maximum of 20 children can register for each workshop, parents can take a seat in the waiting area.

The Werkstatt für Kreative is on the road for you again this year and will be at the Kids kreativ summer holiday camp in Oranienburg from 21-25 August. Every day from 10-12 and 13-15, Lilla welcomes you to the workshop ” Mensch und Emotion auf Papier” (“People and Emotion on Paper”) and looks forward to your active participation. This time, drawing with Japanese ink brushes on watercolour paper is the order of the day and you can and should give free rein to your feelings. Spontaneously and with verve you will put your feelings on paper and capture the moment.

First you experiment with black and then gradually add the primary colours yellow, blue and red.
A picture emerges and in the end it is an expression of yourself. Be curious about what develops before your eyes on the paper and just stay spontaneous. The course is suitable for children and young people aged 5-18 and there are still places available.

Your team from the Werkstatt für Kreative

Werkstatt für Kreative takes part in Kids kreativ in Oranienburg!

During the summer holidays we spend a whole week being creative with Kids kreativ in Oranienburg.
In the workshop Der schöne Schein. Entwirf dein eigenes Kunst-Spielgeld. You can design your own art play money
make your own stamp from all kinds of materials such as foam rubber and cardboard and print your fantasy money.
Think of a name for your money, print numbers and pictures, let your imagination run wild.

The Werkstatt für Kreative will be part of the KinderKulturMonat in October!

Come to us and experience the exciting world of Berlin’s arts in the workshop REMIX: Die große Freiheit in der Kunst (REMIX: The Great Freedom in Art). On Saturday 8.10. from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. you will first visit the exhibition Aufbrüche. Abbrüche. Umbrüche. Kunst in Ost-Berlin 1985 –1995 in the Stiftung Kunstforum Berliner Volksbank and see how the years of reunification were experienced by the artists. A time that brought confusion and helplessness, but also suddenly offered great freedom and opened up completely new possibilities – all of this is reflected in her artworks. Then we take all artistic liberties ourselves: we cut, we glue, we draw, we paint and paint over whatever we can get our hands on. From catalogues, posters, newspapers, cardboard, foam rubber and different colors we combine layer by layer old with new and foreign with our own. This is how free and very personal artistic remixes are created. Registration required!

The Werkstatt für Kreative is looking forward to designing the pictures for the Märchenland calendar 2023 for the 33rd Berlin Märchenland Days in November 2022 with the class of the Bäke elementary school.
The educators of the Werkstatt für Kreative and Märchenland e.V. discuss this year’s theme “farewell and return – fairy tales and stories of life and death” with the children, look at different fairy tales and see what death is called and represented in other cultures. The children tell their own experiences and thus approach the topic.

In the creative part, the children make a stamp from simple materials such as cardboard and foam rubber and design and print pictures that illustrate the theme of the Märchenland days.
From all the resulting images, 12 will be selected for the calendar and published together with the texts from the writing competition. We follow the creative development process and are excited about the result.
The 33rd Berlin Märchenland Days will take place from November 3rd to 20th, 2022 with a wide variety of events.
The Werkstatt für Kreative will also offer a workshop during the Märchenland Days.

We offer workshops always on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. (except public holidays) until the end of June 2022 in our Werkstatt für Kreative at Kaiserdamm 105, in 14057 Berlin.
Together with Light Art Space (LAS), we enable children from Ukraine to have interesting and creative hours with a variety of activities, such as kneading with modeling clay, painting, drawing and printing with different techniques and materials. The workshops will be accompanied by the team from the Werkstatt für Kreative and by Lena, in Ukrainian / English / German.
The offer is free of charge, the presence of the parents is obligatory. You are welcome to visit the current exhibition CASH on the Wall in the Stiftung Kunstforum Berliner Volksbank while your children are having a creative time in the Werkstatt für Kreative.

З нетерпінням чекаємо на вас!

From March 2022 Ephra will be a guest in the Werkstatt für Kreative of the Stiftung KUNSTFORUM der Berliner Volksbank gGmbH for 4 months. Together with the team from the Werkstatt für Kreative minds, two groups of elementary school students explore Berlin studios and artistically implement what they have learned. Horizons are opened and encounters between children and artists are made possible.

The Stiftung KUNSTFORUM der Berliner Volksbank gGmbH is involved in Ephra’s project and, with its support, enables 2 x 12 children to have 7 great and eventful project days each, half a school year long, both in the Werkstatt für Kreative and the workshop program Der schöne Schein. Entwirf deinen Kunst-Spielgeldschein and the current exhibition CASH on the Wall in the Stiftung Kunstforum Berliner Volksbank as well as in the studios of well-known artists, some of whom are involved in the exhibition.

4 out of 7 days are studio days when you visit the artists in their studios. Here you can look over your shoulder as the art is created, interview you, take photos and also get creative yourself. On the last day, the final day, you present your results and report on your experiences.

Procedure:
In Studio RR, Rebecca Raue’s studio, the students first get to know each other and the other participants. From rounds of introductions to introductory games to artistic methods for perceiving and presenting your own strengths and weaknesses, these kick-off workshops contain everything you need to get to know the individual world of the children and create a space for exchange. We invite experts to give the students professional input on topics such as photography or interviewing. With each group that takes part in the project for half a school year, we visit about three to four artists who have their studios all over Berlin. The artists are selected according to the themes, interests and living environments of the children. This time, the focus is on the exhibition CASH on the Wall in the Stiftung Kunstforum Berliner Volksbank. The visits are open-ended in order to enable strong student participation. An artistic-researching approach is central. It is about broadening the view and opening up different realities of life and worlds of thought to the students in order to exchange ideas about individual visions and a life worth striving for. The children discover Berlin and its art, get to know new means of expression, practice asking questions and presenting and their self-confidence is strengthened. Part of the workshops are also small artistic exercises with the materials of the artists: inside. In addition, the excursions are prepared together with the children and documented with sketches, texts and photos.

For the seventh time, the Werkstatt für Kreative of the Stiftung KUNSTFORUM der Berliner Volksbank gGmbH took part in the Children’s Culture Month (KinderKulturMonat) with a free workshop. On Saturday, October 30, 2021, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., the topic was modelling. When looking at works of art in the current exhibition “WIR. Nähe und Distanz – Jubiläumsausstellung mit Werken aus der Kunstsammlung der Berliner Volksbank” children and young people modeled plastic objects in the practical part of the workshop under the expert guidance of art educators. As usual, the small works of art could be taken home.
At the Children’s Culture Month, the participating children and young people can enjoy art and culture free of charge on all weekends in October in Berlin. Around 50 museums, theatres, opera houses, studios, concert halls and galleries offer more than 90 age-appropriate workshops, guided tours and visits to exhibitions and performances.
